The Montessori School of Huntsville (MSH) is an independent, nonprofit school that provides a loving learning environment for toddlers, preschoolers, elementary, and adolescent children through the eighth grade. Our adolescent program is expanding to include ninth grade at the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year. Our campus is located in South Huntsville.

At MSH, learning is an exciting process of discovery that helps children develop concentration, motivation, self-discipline, and independence.

Are you interested in learning more about starting or continuing your family’s Montessori journey with our school?

We are accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year for students 4 years of age through 8th grade; we are accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year with availability in all program levels. The priority application period for consideration of enrollment is September through December.

Book Fair with The Snail on the Wall

Our fall book fair is this week! 

How to shop in store: November 6th – 8th, 10 am to 5pm

Visit The Snail on the Wall in the Five Points area of Downtown Huntsville, at 816 Wellman Avenue. Purchase any book in store, including special orders of books not in stock, and let them know you’re with the Montessori School of Huntsville when you check out.

How to shop online: November 6th – 8th

Browse recommended book lists by program level, or search and order any books – for adults and kids – on the website. At check out, click “Are you shopping a Book Fair?” In the comments section, enter your student’s name and program level. Books will be delivered to your student at school approximately two weeks after the book fair ends.

Buy a book for your teacher

If you’d like to donate a book to your teacher’s classroom, each list has that option! You may donate any amount ($10 or above) to allow your teacher to choose their own books.
