Thanks to everyone who drove and chaperoned (Molly Reid, Allison Doyle, Nancy Kanuru, David Rush, Tim Toomey, Tara Helms, Rebecca McKee, Olga Hansen, Tracey Weber, Steve Haff ) on the field trip to Gullion Farms. The children are still talking about their favorite activities on the farm and how much fun they had and are asking when we can go back.
If you are trying to find a way to get rid of some of your child’s Halloween candy the elementary class is collecting candy to send to the U.S. troops. This is a great project sponsored by a local dentist office. We will collect candy through November 7th.
Thanks to everyone that participated in the Trick or Treat Unicef program.
The upper elementary class started music on November 1st and they were very excited to learn to play their dulcimers and work with Ms. Kathy once again.
This month we are learning about the U.S. government and U.S. symbols. We will have a mock election in the classroom on Tuesday, November 6th. We will also teach a unit about North America including Native American tribes, animals, plants, regions, and history.
